Celebrating One Year of Motherhood…

Little joys of life are free of cost. Today I am celebrating an year of innumerable nappy changes, getting a facial of cerelac, banana puree or whatever she has been eating, peck on the cheek with an open mouth and lots of drool, hardly catching a wink in the night, getting slapped playfully with those tiny little hands after doing all this…

Also celebrating the first time she looked at me and gave me the best of her gummy smile, rolling over and started crawling. When she looks out for me when I am not around and clings to me when she finds me…When she refuses to go to anyone when I am holding her, the first few words she learned from me….

Last year this day a MOTHER was born. Today I celebrate an year of motherhood.
